the space programme

We can take you to the moon and back. It's as easy as ABC.

Getting your marketing strategy right is critical. Everyone has business cards, leaflets, maybe a roller banner, a website... but you can stay one step ahead by introducing audio.

Your target clients are busy people. How do you make sure they spend time reading your message over all the others they receive?

Catch them on the move. Most people like to listen to something in the car, on the bus or during their morning run. They use CDs or MP3 players.

How does this sound: you've just met your target at a networking meeting. You've come away with a pocketful of business cards and so have they. But when they're stuck in traffic on the way home, they have your Audio Business Card with them. They put it in their CD player and there you are, bending their ear for the journey back to the office. When they call you, they're a qualified contact ready to hear more or to place an order there and then.

Audio Business Card:

There’s only so much you can say when you introduce yourself at networking meetings. You’re competing with a roomful of other people, and often there is ‘network fatigue’ when people just can’t remember who they’ve talked to.

And when they leave the meeting, they’re faced with a long drive home, often stuck in traffic.

And there’s only so much information you can put on a conventional business card.

If, after you’ve met someone who you feel could bring you business, you give them a CD with your usual business card details printed on front, they can then play the CD on their way back to the office and you can have their undivided attention.

Our audio business card gives you up to five minutes of your speech which you record at Space Studios. We edit and master it so that it’s perfect – clear, clean sound with no distractions. We then help you ‘author’ the CD ready for manufacturing.

You may want to update this throughout the year as your products and services change, or you could produce different ones for different markets or products.

"Podcast"

A podcast in the true sense of the word is an audio programme that is downloaded automatically to subscribers through an RSS feed. Often offered through portals such as iTunes, they are programmes relating to certain areas of expertise. Subjects range widely, but for you as a business person it’s an ideal opportunity to display your expertise.

However, the term ‘podcast’ is often used to cover any audio offered for download through a website, and your target market can still put your programme on their MP3 player so that they can listen to it wherever and whenever they want.

Our ‘Podcast’ can be from 5 to 15 minutes long. You can offer it as a podcast through an RSS feed, and we can advise you on how to do this. Or you can simply include it on your website for download. Alternatively, you can use it as a longer audio business card, perhaps as a free taster of your services – ideal for professionals such as business coaches, financial advisors, nutritionists.

We record your speech and edit and master it so that it’s crystal clear. We give it to you in MP3 and WAV format – two formats with different compression rates so that you can use it on your website or send it to be manufactured on CD.

Audio Book

If you give advice professionally, then making an audio book can increase your revenue streams. Perhaps you find yourself giving the same core advice over and over. Some of your advice will apply to all your clients, for instance on topics such as will writing, relaxation, stress management, business advice.

If you make an Audio Book of up to an hour’s content, you have a product that you can sell through your website or at events. Clients will benefit from your core advice and then use your personal services for more specific issues, which then makes your workload more interesting.

We record your speech as we do with all speech recording – cleanly, clearly and with no distractions. We advise on your delivery, and will tell you if something is unclear – your clients need to be able to understand every word.

And to divide your Audio Book into chapters, we'll give you some free stings: little bursts of music that help punctuate your speech.

Extra modules

We offer other features for business audio. Some we deliver in-house, such as bespoke music and sound effects, and others we offer in conjuction with our associates, such as graphic design and different CD packaging options. We know experts for everything, so please tell us what you have in mind and we will look after you!

The Space Programme

The Space Programme is indeed named after the American Space Programme.

The Mercury Project ran from 1961 to 1963 and was the first manned Space Programme, which sent seven astronauts into space, starting with Alan B. Shepherd.

The Gemini Project started in 1965 and ended the following year. The astronauts achieved the first American spacewalk, as well as a rendezvous and dock with another spacecraft.

The Apollo Project began in 1967 and ended in 1974. Probably the most famous mission was Apollo 11 where Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and "the other guy", Michael Collins, achieved the first moonwalk. Space Studios is linked to this mission by the fact that Mary Hopkin met these fine men and they told her that the first song they heard on their return to Earth was her rendition of "Those Were the Days". (And if you haven't found out yet, Space Studios is the home of Mary Hopkin Music.)
