Mums and dads - if you spent your childhood bopping in front of the mirror, be honest... you'd have jumped at the chance to party in a recording studio!!

And so will your kids. Bring them (and their friends!) to Space Studios and we'll lay on the ultimate party, where they record two of their favourite songs - and everyone gets a CD!

What you can expect at one of our parties:

2 hours of studio time

2 backing tracks of your child’s choice

Professional guidance from our in-house singing coach

Drinks and light refreshments

A personal copy of the recording for each of the guests

Digital photos of your time spent at Space Studios

Upon arrival, you will all be greeted with a drink and your host will describe the recording process.

Then the young performers will go into the studio and have a go at the first song they’ve chosen. Depending on numbers, they may sing all at once or in two groups to get the best results.

Nervous about getting it right? Professional singers rarely get their performance perfect in one go. They sing the song several times and then the engineer or producer will pick out the best parts to make one great performance.

So don’t worry, they’ll have several chances to get it right! And what’s more, mum and dad are welcome to have a go too! (We ask that two adults are present with the group other than Space Staff.)

When they’re happy with the first song, you’ll all take a break while our engineer makes it sound even better.

Then it’s back in for the next song, by which time they’ll feel like proper pop stars. All the time they’ll be photographed so there’s no chance of forgetting the experience!

After the second song is done, all guests relax in our comfy lounge with some luscious nibbles and drinks while the CD is mixed and mastered. You’ll leave with a white label CD and then one copy for each guest will be sent on with a label made especially for your child!
