Mums and dads - if you spent your childhood bopping in front of the mirror, be honest... you'd have jumped at the chance to party in a recording studio!!
And so will your kids. Bring them (and their friends!) to Space Studios and we'll lay on the ultimate party, where they record two of their favourite songs - and everyone gets a CD!
What you can expect at one of our parties:
Upon arrival, you will all be greeted with a drink and your CRB-checked hosts Jessica and Christian will describe the recording process.
Then the young performers* will go into the studio and have a go at the first song they’ve chosen. Depending on numbers, they may sing all at once or in two groups to get the best results. Jessica is in the studio with them coaching and supporting while Christian concentrates on technical perfection.
Nervous about getting it right? Professional singers rarely get their performance perfect in one go. They sing the song several times and then the engineer or producer will pick out the best parts to make one great performance.
So don’t worry, they’ll have several chances to get it right! And what’s more, mum and dad are welcome to have a go too! (We ask that two adults are present with the group other than Space Staff.)
When they’re happy with the first song, you’ll all take a break while Christian makes it sound even better.
Then it’s back in for the next song, by which time they’ll feel like proper pop stars. All the time they’ll be photographed so there’s no chance of forgetting the experience!
After the second song is done, all guests relax while the CD is mixed and mastered.
Parties may be held in venues away from the studio but will be hosted by Jessica and Christian and will offer the same fabulous recording experience.

Prices (inc VAT):
White Label: £200
Two hours of studio time for up to 15 guests. You'll record vocals to two songs, and we supply backing tracks and lyric sheets. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. You'll receive one master CD when you leave. Additional copies for guests are available at £3 each.
Example: Children's birthday party for 10 guests. You bring the nibbles and cake, or perhaps you're taking them for pizza afterwards and don't want them to fill up on crisps! If you don't want the extra CD copies, the songs can be shared afterwards on MP3 players.
Gold Disc: £200 + £15 per head for up to 20 guests.
Two hours (or slightly more) of studio time, recording vocals to two songs. There'll be a light buffet and drinks. You'll leave with one master CD, and one CD for each guest, with your band photo on the front, will be sent on to one address within a week.
Example: A party of 10 children arrive with a mum and dad in tow (who can have a sing themselves!) and we take care of all the food and drink. Cost: £200+£150=£350.
Platinum Disc: As Gold but with extras...
If the Gold Disc package just isn't enough, let us take the strain and arrange extras for you (prices and arrangements vary):
